Operation and domain
RSCRevived.org is an independently operated community website and game service administered by an individual in the United States. The operator controls the RSCRevived.org domain and administers the website, forum, servers, downloads, and community services. Control of the domain does not by itself establish registered or exclusive trademark rights in the RSCRevived name.
Independent project and third-party rights
RSCRevived is an independent fan-run private server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by Jagex Limited. RuneScape and related names, marks, game content, and intellectual property belong to Jagex Limited and/or their respective owners and licensors.
Open-source software remains subject to its applicable licenses. Contributor-created code, artwork, writing, audio, and other material remains subject to the rights of its creator or other rights holder unless a valid license or written assignment provides otherwise. Displaying, distributing, or using material through RSCRevived does not by itself transfer ownership to the operator, a contributor, or a user.
Scope of these terms
These terms apply to the RSCRevived website, forum, game server, downloads, account tools, support credits, subscription cards, staff tools, and related community spaces. References to RSCRevived mean the RSCRevived project, its website, its game server, its staff, and the project operator.
Using RSCRevived does not create an ownership, partnership, employment, agency, investment, or business relationship between you and RSCRevived.
Free account access
Creating an account and playing RSCRevived does not require a purchase.
Website checkout is unavailable during prelaunch development. RSCRevived is not currently accepting website payments. Optional support credits and subscription cards may be made available later.
Age and permission
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian review and accept these terms before you use the website, game server, support credits, or subscription-card system.
Service availability
RSCRevived is provided as available. The website, forum, downloads, game server, account tools, support credits, subscription cards, rankings, and related services may be changed, interrupted, limited, disabled, rolled back, reset, or discontinued for maintenance, security, balance, abuse prevention, payment issues, technical issues, or project needs.
RSCRevived does not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent uptime, permanent rankings, permanent item availability, permanent character availability, or error-free operation.
Accounts, characters, and virtual items
Accounts, characters, names, ranks, stats, items, banks, inventories, credits, cards, logs, and other game or website records are digital service records used only inside RSCRevived. They are not property, have no cash value, and may not be sold, purchased, traded, wagered, transferred for outside value, or exchanged for real-world value.
RSCRevived may correct, reverse, remove, restore, rebalance, or roll back accounts, characters, items, stats, credits, services, or transactions when needed for bugs, exploits, duplication, fraud, chargebacks, security, moderation, balance, or technical integrity.
Support credits
Support credits are optional digital account credits for RSCRevived services only. They are not charity donations, are not tax-deductible, have no cash value, and cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, resold, wagered, or exchanged for outside value.
If support purchases are available, a purchase does not purchase ownership of the game, the website, a character, an item, any intellectual property, any guaranteed permanent access, any staff decision, or any advantage outside the specific digital benefit described at the time of redemption.
Subscription cards
Support credits may be redeemed for configured in-game subscription cards or similar digital benefits. Benefits, item IDs, pricing, and availability may be changed for balance, security, technical, or compliance reasons.
Once credits are spent, redeemed for a card, loaded from a card, transferred through a service, consumed by an approved service, or otherwise used, that digital delivery is generally final unless staff confirms a delivery error or a payment processor requires a different outcome.
Account responsibility
Players are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and following staff instructions, website rules, and in-game rules. The full rules are posted at RSCRevived Rules and are part of these terms.
Abuse and enforcement
RSCRevived may restrict accounts, characters, website access, or game access for cheating, abuse, fraud, chargeback abuse, harassment, exploitation, or attempts to disrupt the service.
Payments and refunds
Website checkout is disabled during prelaunch development, and RSCRevived is not currently accepting website payments. If checkout is opened later, payments will be processed by Stripe and the payment, refund, and dispute terms displayed at that time will apply.
When payments are available, card numbers and sensitive payment details will be handled by Stripe and will not be stored by RSCRevived. Refund eligibility will be reviewed under the terms presented at the time of purchase and any rights required by applicable law or payment-processor rules.
Security and investigations
RSCRevived may review account records, login records, IP addresses, command logs, chat logs, trade records, item records, payment references, support requests, staff actions, and technical logs to protect players, investigate reports, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.
Staff may decline to disclose private evidence, internal logs, security methods, payment-risk details, or information about another player's account, payment, or disciplinary history.
Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RSCRevived is not responsible for lost access, lost progress, lost items, lost rankings, service interruptions, third-party outages, unauthorized account access caused by shared or compromised credentials, or other indirect or consequential losses connected to use of the service.
Rule changes
RSCRevived may update these terms, rules, service availability, prices, and digital benefits when needed for safety, balance, technical work, abuse prevention, legal review, or payment-processor compliance.
