RSCREVIVED PLAYER GUIDE
Start with FIRST SESSION. The rest of this page is a reference you can return to as you play; you do not need to set up every feature at once.

________________

FIRST SESSION
Before you log in
1
Create your website account, then create at least one game character from the account dashboard.

2
Download and open the RSCRevived client, then sign in with that account.

Your first ten minutes
1
Open Settings. The Home page is the central place for the World Map, Lost on Death, Ground Filter, Highscores, NPC Database, and Lottery Status.

2
Make the controls comfortable. Start with mouse/tap behavior, camera controls, display scale, and interface style. You can change the rest later.

3
Open the World Map and locate a bank, shop, or training area. Turn on map routes if you want a tap on the map to begin walking.

4
Protect the items you are carrying. Learn Inventory Lock, then open Lost on Death before any dangerous trip.

5
Pick a familiar early activity—questing, gathering, combat, or a skill—and use the sections below when you need a specific tool.

SETTINGS AND EVERYDAY CONTROLS
Settings is the fastest way to adjust how the game feels. It is searchable, and changes made there save automatically.

Start with the options that affect every session:
* Controls: choose one- or two-button input, camera behavior, and item-click response.
* Display and Interface: adjust scale, rendering, layout, and menu visibility for your screen.
* Android: set hold, swipe, zoom, and text preferences if you play on a phone or tablet.
* XP & Overlays: choose how you want XP and batch progress displayed.
* Death & Safety: open the death preview and review Wilderness warnings before taking risks.

TIP Search by the setting name instead of working through every category. A comfortable control setup matters more than changing every option on day one.

GET AROUND AND SEE THE LOOT
World Map
* Search for areas, banks, shops, and RuneCraft ruins.
* Enable World Map Routes when you want a map tap to start walking and close the map. Turn routes off when you only want to inspect destinations.
* Use the map controls to zoom, recenter, find nearby locations, and choose whether friend and location details are shown.

Ground Item Filter
* Add a pattern such as “Bones*” to match a group of ground items.
* Matching items are hidden by default. Mark individual exceptions KEEP when you still want to see them.
* Save after changing the list, and test a broad pattern before relying on it.

IMPORTANT The filter changes only what you see. It does not remove items from the ground. Keep important exceptions visible so loot is not missed.

KEEP YOUR ITEMS SAFE AND READY
Inventory Lock
Hold the inventory tab or control for half a second to toggle Inventory Lock. The HUD shows “Locked” while it is on.

Use it when you are walking, chatting, or reading menus with valuable items visible. Unlock deliberately before moving, equipping, eating, or dropping items.

Lost on Death
Open Lost on Death before entering the Wilderness or any other risky activity.
* The upper row shows the items currently kept on death; the lower row shows items lost.
* The preview shows the value at risk and takes your Protect Item prayer state into account.
* Reopen it whenever your equipment, inventory, prayer, or destination changes.

Banking and loadouts
The bank adds search, wealth display, item or note withdrawal, rearrange modes, and saved loadouts.

1
Find an item with search or the category tabs.

2
Choose a rearrange mode: Swap exchanges slots, Insert shifts items, and None leaves the layout as it is.

3
Use Item or Note when the item supports note withdrawal. Item menus also provide preset amounts, X, All, and Wield where applicable.

4
Save a loadout after preparing an activity. Loading checks what you are carrying first and identifies anything missing.

LOADOUT TIP Tapping a saved slot loads it and closes the panel; holding a slot opens its management options. Check the preview before loading for a high-risk activity.

PROGRESS YOUR CHARACTER
Quests and quest-right equipment
Use the Quests tab to see available and completed quests. The Stats tab provides a summary of skills, equipment status, quest points, and PvP information.

Some quest-reward equipment can also have special quest-right unlock routes. Requirements, drop sources, and availability can change, so check the relevant in-game information and current announcements before planning around a particular item.

AFK time, batching, and fatigue
Some activities support a limited amount of AFK time and repeated batch actions. Use Batch Progress in Settings if you want to see a progress bar while an action repeats.

* Current limits depend on your account type, the activity, and the rules shown in game.
* ::sleep clears fatigue when your account is eligible to use it; use the in-game command list or membership information for the current requirement.
* Stop Batch When Full is available in Settings if you want a batch to stop rather than leave an overflow reward on the ground.

FAIR PLAY Treat the current in-game limits and rules as authoritative. Do not assume an old promotion or screenshot overrides them.

FIND PLAYERS AND INFORMATION
Highscores, NPC Database, and Lottery Status are quick tools you can open from Settings Home.

Highscores
* Filter account modes, choose Overall or a skill, or search for a player.

NPC Database
* Search for an NPC to view its combat stats, aggression, respawn information, description, and configured drop table.
* The search also supports looking up item drops.

Lottery Status
* Check whether the lottery is open, the current prize or GP pot, the last winner, and whether you have a claim available.
* The status panel is the best place to check the current state before buying or claiming.

Clans
Clans provide chat, ranks, membership controls, themes, statistics, and group challenges. They are optional—join one when you want company or coordinated goals.

* Clan Setup controls the name, tag, invitation policy, and who can invite or remove members.
* Ranks / Theme contains the layout, rank, access, preset, and color controls.
* Stats / Challenges tracks clan points, NPC kills, PK kills, quests, skill XP, matches, and challenge progress.

LEADERSHIP TIP Set invitation and removal permissions before recruiting. Use the theme preview to make rank text and progress bars easy to read.

TRADE WITH PLAYERS
Auction House
The Auction House has seller listings and funded buy requests. Every offer is priced by a player, so read the full transaction before confirming.

Buy from a listing
1
Open Browse, then search or filter by item category.

2
Check the item, quantity, expiry, price per item, and total price before you buy.

Post a funded buy request
1
Open Buy Requests, choose Place Request, and select the item.

2
Set the quantity, offer per item, and the duration shown by the interface.

3
Confirm the escrow amount and your inventory coins before posting.

Sell an item
Open My Market, select the item, then enter the price, quantity, and available duration before creating the listing.

ECONOMY SAFETY Recheck K and M abbreviations, total-versus-each values, quantities, and escrow every time. If something looks wrong, cancel before confirming.

COMPETITIVE PLAY: READ THIS LAST
Roll Duels and Wilderness bounties are opt-in systems with GP or Wilderness risk. Use Lost on Death first and do not feel pressured to use either system early.

Roll Duels: complete guide
A Roll Duel is a two-player, winner-takes-stake coin-flip game. There is no combat: the server assigns Heads and Tails, rolls automatically, and transfers the losing stake to the winner.

Set up a Roll Duel
1
Both players type ::rollduel or ::rollduel on. A player who has not enabled Roll Duel mode cannot start one with a player who has.

2
Stand near each other, then use the normal right-click Duel option. The server needs both players within eight tiles and able to reach an adjacent facing position before the rolls begin.

3
Add your stake. Read both stake panels carefully: the items shown under Your Stake are yours; the items under Opponent's Stake are what the other player is risking.

4
Choose one starting roll ceiling: 10K, 50K, 100K, or 500K. Check the confirmation screen to make sure both players show the same starting ceiling.

5
Both players accept the stake screen, then both accept the final confirmation screen. You can decline before the final confirmation if a stake or ceiling is wrong.

Heads, Tails, and the winning roll
When both confirmations are accepted, the server randomly assigns one player Heads and the other Tails. Players do not choose their side.

* Heads always rolls first.
* Rolls alternate between Heads and Tails.
* Each roll is lower than the current ceiling. If the result is higher than 1, that result becomes the new, smaller ceiling for the next player.
* A roll of 1 ends the duel: Heads wins.
* A roll of 0 ends the duel: Tails wins.

Example
The players choose a 10K ceiling. Alice is assigned Heads and Bob is assigned Tails.

1
Alice rolls 6,731. The ceiling becomes 6,731.

2
Bob rolls 2,102. The ceiling becomes 2,102.

3
Alice rolls 1. Heads wins, so Alice wins the Roll Duel.

If a player rolls 0 at any point instead, Tails wins immediately. The server uses its own secure random result for the side assignment and every roll; neither player can control the outcome. Over a complete duel, Heads and Tails have the same chance to win.

What the winner receives
The winner keeps their own stake and receives the other player's accepted stake. Winnings are placed in the winner's inventory first, then their bank if needed. Roll Duel wins and losses are recorded separately from normal duel results.

IMPORTANT If the server cannot safely complete the payout, it restores both stakes instead of taking items from only one player. There is no player death or combat damage during a Roll Duel.

Before you accept
* Confirm the opponent's name, every item and quantity, and the selected starting ceiling on the final screen.
* Do not stake more than you are prepared to lose; the final roll is random.
* Use ::rollduel off when you want future right-click Duel requests to use regular duel rules again.

Wilderness bounties
* Type ::bounty player amount to begin a public bounty. The target must be online and you need the coins in your inventory.
* Type ::yesbounty within two minutes to confirm, or ::nobounty to cancel before coins are deducted.
* A confirmed bounty is active for Wilderness kills. Use ::bountyhelp if you want to review the available bounty commands, including checking a target, history, and refunds.

HIGH RISK Verify the player name, amount, stake, inventory, and death preview before confirming any competitive action.
